NORMAN, Eugene Jackson
age 76 a resident of Fairborn for 53 years, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2005, at Hospice of Dayton. Eugene retired from General Motors after 33 years of service and was a City of Fairborn school bus driver for 9 years. He was a member of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Dayton, and the Fairborn Masonic Michael L. Finnell Lodge #711 for 46 years. Eugene is survived by his wife, Justine Norman; children, David Eugene (Susan) Norman, Donna Jean (Dwayne) Beam, and Timothy Allen Norman (girlfriend, Sandi West); sisters, Eula (Elmo) Smith and Mae Royse; brothers, Ray (Opal) Smith and James A. (Loretta) Smith; grandchildren, Neal (Brandy) Norman, Lindsey Norman, Nathan Norman, Chad (Abbie) Beam, Dusty (Julie) Beam, Brooke Beam (fiancee, Ben Larkins), Brandy Norman, and Zachary Norman; great grandchildren, Colton Beam, Kaeley Beam, Cade Beam, and Kendall Beam; and numerous nieces and nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Millard Norman, mother, Stella Smith; and step father, Nelson Smith. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2005, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road. Masonic Services will be held 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens with Rev. Troy Lowe officiating.
