Eugene Metter

METTER, Eugene age 90 passed away Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Kettering Memorial Hospital. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne. He is survived by sons, Gene (Belinda), Mark, and Tim (Donna); beloved granddaughters, Kimberly and Jennifer (Brian); sisters, Janet, Ruth, and Anna Lea; and by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He served in the Army during WWII in The Pacific Theater and was a retired tool maker in the Dayton area. He was also an avid golfer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Our Lady of the Rosary,22 Notre Dame, at 12:00 pm. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the VFW or to Kettering Memorial Hospital.
