Age 67, of Huber Heights passed away unexpectedly at his home in early May, 2010.
He was born March 28, 1943. Gene served our country as Sgt. In the Army & in the Coast Guard during the Vietnam War. He worked as a police officer at Wright-Patt & retired as a boiler operator from WPAFB. He was married 30 years to Janice Lewis & had one daughter.
He is survived by his daughter Keli & husband Daniel Melms; 4 beautiful grandchildren Evan, Kaelin, Nathaniel, & Elijah; former spouse Janice Lewis; brothers Robert & Winfred Lewis; sister Betty Lewis; numerous nieces, nephews, & friends.
A graveside service will be held Wed. June 16, at 11AM at VA Dayton National Cemetery. Arrangements by NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, DAYTON NORTH CHAPEL.
