Koverman, Eugene P., "Big Daddy", age 84, of Dayton, passed away January 9, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Huberta (Horst) Koverman, and brother, William Koverman.
Eugene is survived by his brother, Ron (Francina) Koverman; sister-in-law, Alice (Paul) England, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Eugene taught high school in Beavercreek, Ohio for 30 years where he was influential in intramural sports. He was the score keeper at the basketball games for 53 years.
Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 8:00pm Friday, January 13, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Mass of Christian Burial will be said 10:30am Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Church 2300 Smithville Rd. Dayton, Ohio 45420. Burial at Calvary Cemetery.
