Eugene T. Clifford "Gene", age 88 of Centerville, formerly of Detroit, MI, passed away October 3, 2015. He was born December 8, 1926 in Hartford, CT. Gene was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Clifford; wife, Mary (Stump) Clifford; and brother, James Clifford.
Gene is survived by his son, Jonathan Clifford; daughter and son-in-law: Christianna and Michael Romer; grandson, Karl Romer; and very spoiled cat, Briget.
Gene was a veteran of the U.S. Navy; a registered Stockbroker and automotive manufacturer representative; an avid fisherman and gardener who loved spending time outdoors with his family and friends; enjoyed playing Cribbage; and was a member of Incarnation Catholic Church.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, October 24, 2015 in the mausoleum chapel at David's Cemetery. Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd.
