Etta M. Spring

Spring, Etta M., age 82, of Moraine, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2014. Etta was born March 22, 1932 in Miamisburg, Ohio to the late Samuel & Mary Etta (Hockett) Hardy. She retired from DESC with over 30 years of service and attended Fairview United Methodist Church in Dayton.

Etta is survived by her husband of 18 years: Steven L. Spring; son: David Lloyd; step son: Jeffrey Spring; brother: James Hardy; grandsons: Christopher, Samuel & Anthony Lloyd; and numerous other family members and friends. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Sam, Henry, Willard, Charles and Robert; and sister: Carmen.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home – South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Interment will follow the service at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.
