Ethel W. Walker, age 75, of Dayton went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 6, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Garrett & Lucille Cox; brothers, Billy, Kenneth and Harrison; and sisters, Mary Alice, Shirley and Joann.
Ethel is survived by her sisters, Wilma (Charles) Meadors, Bobbie (Carl) Davis and Helen Leach; children, Darrell Walker, Alva (Deborah) Walker Jr. and Donna (Jeff Gerken) Baker; grandchildren, Nicole (Ricardo) Studebaker, Christopher Walker, Kevin Barber and Alan J. Walker; great-grandchildren, Lanie and Zane Piatt; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 2-4 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45432). A memorial service will follow at 4 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ethel's memory to The Hospice of Dayton or The American Cancer Society.
