Esther Elizabeth (Feucht) Payne, age 79, of Riverside, Ohio passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019 at Heartland of Kettering.
Esther retired from Miami Valley Hospital, where she worked as a surgical technician. She, then, went to work for Kettering Medical Center.
Esther was a long-time member of Northridge Assembly of God/Light of Hope Church and Singles and Mingles Fellowship.
Esther will be remembered for her kindness and gentle spirit, and the way she cared for all of God's creatures.
Esther was preceded in death by her parents, Karl and Elizabeth Feucht, formerly of Bainbridge, Ohio, and her brothers; Karl Feucht, formerly of Cedarville, Ohio, and David Feucht, formerly of Norman, Arkansas.
Esther is survived by her sons, Gary (Cammie) Payne of Tampa, Florida, and Randy Payne of Riverside, Ohio, as well as her brother, Paul (Patsy) Feucht of Lakeland, Florida, and sisters-in-law, Margaret Feucht of Cedarville, Ohio and Ruth Feucht of Norman, Arkansas, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her special friends, Allison French, who cared for her at the end, and John Kaufmann, leader of Singles and Mingles Fellowship.
A special thank you to the staff at Heartland of Kettering, for caring for Esther during her final 6 months of life, and Hospice of Dayton, for assisting in her transition to Heaven.
A celebration of Esther's life will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2019, her 80'th birthday, at 6:30 pm at Light of Hope Church, 4777 Payne Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45414, Pastor David Davis officiating. Private burial will be held at Bainbridge Cemetery at a later date.
