Esther E. Miller

Miller, Esther E. Ganger (nee Bowers), age 91, of Kettering, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 10, 2009 at Lincoln Park Manor. She was born February 26, 1918 in Darke County, Ohio. Esther retired from Liberal Markets and was a past member of Lathrem Senior Center. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lulu Etta & Hershel A. Bowers and husbands Dale Eugene Ganger and Clarence "Whitey" Miller. She was the loving mother of four children, Patricia L. (Thomas) O'Meara, Donald E. (Lynda) Ganger, Linda E. Roberds, and Stephen P. (Mary) Ganger; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; brother, Warren Bowers of Union City, OH; sister-in-law, Norma Bowers of Tucson, AZ; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held at 12 PM on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, Ohio. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 from 5-8 PM.
