Esther L. Baker

Esther L. Baker, age 79 of Dayton, passed away July 22, 2018. She was born August 21, 1938 in Dayton to the late Bernard and Esther E. (Luchsinger) Utz. In addition to her parents, Esther was preceded in death by her sons, Michael L. Ison and Ray A. Baker; brother, Jerry Utz.

She is survived by her 3 children, Miyra Ann Ison, Schelldon (Tammy) Baker and Scott (Christina) Baker; grandchildren, Quentin L. Baker, Chloe L. Baker, Tabatha N. Ison and Michael R. Baker; sisters, Beverly A. (Bill) Downard and Patricia J. Vaughn; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Esther enjoyed sewing, reading and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved talking about her dogs.

Family will receive friends from 4-6 PM on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. where a funeral service will begin at 6 PM.
