Esther Alsept

Esther Alsept, 93, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on February 28, 2022. She was born on May 22, 1928 in Frenchburg, Kentucky, to the late George and Hattie Vititoe. In addition to her parents, Esther was preceded in death by her husband Wise Alsept; sisiters Alpha Vititoe Scott, Dorothy Vititoe Lewis, and Maggie Vititoe Taylor; brothers John Vititoe, Don Vititoe, and Bill Vititoe; children Delilah Bailey and Robert Alsept.

Esther is survived by her children Daphne (David) Page, Diane Williams, Alvin (Virginia) Alsept, Denise Powell, Gail Iverson, and Dora (Price) Johnson; sisters Connie (Bob) Ballard and Rosetta Dyer; 19 grandchildren; and numerous beloved great grandchildren, and other friends and family.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, March 7, 2022, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio, 45439. Visitation for Esther will begin at 10 AM on Monday, March 7 until the time of service. Esther will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery. In honor of Esther, the family has requested donations be made to her great granddaughter Irelynn Grace Cunningham, who has been diagnosed with a relapsed wilms tumor.
