Essie Brainard

BRAINARD, Essie Juanita, 93, of Kettering passed away Sunday, August 26, 2007 at Kettering Medical Center. She was a devoted volunteer for American Red Cross at the VA for over 20 years. She enjoyed church, gardening, and reading. Essie was a loving wife and mother. She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and her husband Wayne Brainard. Essie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Charles and Delores Brainard, 6 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Funeral services will be held 2:00PM Thursday, August 30, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00PM Thursday prior to services.
