Ernie Leroy Holderman

Ernie Leroy Holderman, 71, of Eaton, passed away on November 14, 2019 at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on June 8, 1948 to the late Clarence and Octava (Morgan) Holderman in Dayton, OH.

Ernie worked for Singer's Catering Service with his good friend Jim Singer for at least 35 years. He was also a member of the American Barber Association, being a Barber his entire life and cutting hair until the end.

On July 16, 1966 he married his best friend, Linda Holderman (Boggs).

Ernie loved fishing and hunting, especially with his family and best friend/brother, Johnny.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Brother, Jimmy Holderman.

Ernie is survived by his loving Wife and Best Friend of 58 years, Linda; Children, Missy (Guy) Brooks, Ieshsa (Randy) Engle, Dave (Debi) Holderman; Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren: Kourtney (Kyle), Kady (Josh) and their children, Dillan, Anna, Harper, Keith, & Kameron; Sean, Chelsea (Becky), Stacy (Rob) and their children, Crystal, Ally, Matthew, & Chelsea; Paula (James) and their children, Jennifer, James, & Lily; Steven, Erica and her daughter, Gabriella; Derek (Eli) and their children, Mason, Wyatt, & Sawyer; and Ryan (Brooklyn) and their children, Savannah, Noah, & Lucas; Siblings, Judy, Debi (John), Johnny (Erica), and David (Debbie); many other loving Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends; Dog, Alice & Cat, Murphy.

A Special Thanks to Reid Health, Hospice of Dayton, and the 6th floor Critical Care Unit of the IU Health University Hospital.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2019, 2:30 pm at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton). Family will receive guests starting at 1:30 pm.
