Ernestine Hays-Music

Ernestine "Tina" Hays-Music, age 76 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2017. She was born in Betsy Lane, KY to the late Myrtle Whitt and D.M. Parsons. She moved to the Dayton area as a teenager and lived and raised her family here.

She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Tina will be remembered for her caring and compassionate nature and will be missed by all who loved her.

In addition to her parents, Tina was preceded in death by siblings, Edna, Bill, DM, and Dorothy; and son-in-law, Tim Hardy.

Tina leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughters, Sheila (Vickie Whipp) Hays, Kim Steinmetz, and Lisa Hardy; grandson, Anthony Dills; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Angel; her loyal pets, Lucy and Joey; sister, Mattie Siler; brother, Earl (June) Parsons; dear family friend, Vicki Parham; and many other loving relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 6:30pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel. The family will greet friends and loved ones from 5:00pm - 6:30pm prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tina's memory to Hospice of Dayton.
