Ernest T. "Bud" Fuller, age 87, of Sandy, Utah, formerly of Dayton, passed away on April 22, 2007 at his home. He was born Oct. 17 1919, in Dayton, OH, the son of Ernest Clayton Fuller & Emma McClelland. He is preceded in death by his lovely wife, Jane (Bennett) Fuller; sisters, Florence Gallagher and Eva Fuller; and his closest friend and brother-in-law, Roy K. Ellis, Sr. Survivors include his brother, Alton Fuller; sisters, Ellen Black and Delores Sullivan, and his sister-in-law Rhada Ellis. Bud was a WWII Veteran who served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Mounted Sheriff's Patrol, Special Deputy, and was an active member of the Shrine. He owned and operated his own businesses including "Bud's Carry Out", and Bud's Corral on Dixie Hwy in Dayton. Bud and his wife Jane traveled extensively out west and loved his Palomino horses. He rode in many parades including the Rose Bowl. Bud was a true "Cowboy". He took care of his wife for many years during her illness before her passing. He was a great man and helped many of his friends and family when in need. Bud spent his last few years in Utah with family. We loved our Uncle Bud and he will be missed greatly. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2007 at 11:15 AM at Willow View Cemetery, Dayton. The family will receive friends at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH on Saturday from 10-11 AM.
