Ernest was born on September 3, 1948, in Dayton, Ohio to James and Mary Monthopoulo Demetriw.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 10, 2018, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, in Kettering, OH.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at 9:30 am at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Dayton, OH, with Father Joseph Gingrich officiating and Ernie Stathes as Cantor.
Interment will follow at the Dayton National Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Hospice of Dayton.
