Ernest M. Davis "Mitch", age 76 of Dayton, passed away January 5, 2019 at The Hospice of Dayton. He was born July 3, 1942 in Raleigh County, W.V to the late Ernest C. and Ruth (Bilbrey) Davis. In addition to his parents, Mitch was preceded in death by 1 sister, Kathy Laux; 2 brothers, Malcolm and Mike.
He is survived by children, Sonya (Justin) Daniels, Jeff Davis and Charlene (Paul) Houston; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings, Diane (Daniel) Hancock, Bev Lozlowski, Tony (Nancy) Davis, Ronnie Davis and Janey (Bruce) Walter; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Mitch worked and retired from Echoing Hills after many years of service. He loved hunting and being outdoors.
Family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 PM on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. where a funeral service will begin at 1:30 PM.
