Eric Lee Pyett, age 38 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born August 7, 1978 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Eric was a '96 graduate of Stebbins H.S. and attended Wright State University. Eric was very smart and loved technology. He was a software developer and engineer who had worked for GE for 13 years and was currently employed with Ability Network. He was a great father, partner, son, brother, uncle, and nephew who cherished all the time he could spend with his family and was always looking out for them. He led by example, was a great role model, and had a good sense of humor. He was able to coach his daughter's soccer team which meant a lot to him. Eric will be dearly missed by his family and friends and all whose lives he touched.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ruth (June) E. Thomas and Horace J. Radford; and paternal grandparents, Jimmie and Gwen Pyett. Eric will be missed by his loving partner, Amanda Patrick; children, Alyssa, Isaiah and Alana Pyett; parents, Leon and Mildred Pyett; siblings, Leanna (Christopher) Ordner, Veronica (Codybear Sparks) Pyett; and Leon (Danielle Simpson) Lee Pyett, II; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4-6 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, a fund will be established in Eric's memory for his children at any local PNC Bank c/o Amanda Patrick.
