Pooler, Eric E. age 50, of Bellefontaine, formerly of Vandalia and Dayton, passed away November 30, 2016.
He was born in Dayton on February 22, 1966 to Lawrence and Linda Pooler, the first of 4 boys. Eric graduated from Ben Logan High School in Logan Co. He was formerly married to Tina Libecap for a short time. Eric enjoyed being outdoors and had a love of tree trimming. More than anything Eric loved his daughters, he taught them how to fish. Eric had a free spirit, loved music and to play the guitar. He met Kerri Hoffman in 1993 and they were together for 24 years.
He is survived by his wife, Kerri Pooler; 4 daughters, Erica Pooler, Ashley Pooler, Allyson (Jeff) Stringfellow, Meghan Pooler; 2 grandchildren, Brianna and Peyton, and one on the way; his parents, Lawrence and Linda Pooler; 3 brothers, Mark (Carol) Pooler, Jerrod Pooler, Matthew (Tracy) Pooler; his aunt Pam McCoy who was like a sister to him, many other relatives and friends and his special dog "Max".
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alice and Edgar Pooler, and Virgil and Jean Runyon, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Cloyd and Virginia Hoffman, 2 brothers-in-law, Jay Hoffman and Keith Hoffman.
Visitation will be held 12:00pm until time of service at 2:00pm on Friday December 9, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home 4104 Needmore Rd. Burial at Poplar Hill Cemetery.
