Eric Lagera Dino

Eric Paul Lagera Dino, age 53 of Dayton, Ohio passed away Monday, June 8, 2020. He was born on April 29, 1967.

Eric was a very devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and nephew. Family and friends describe him as lovable, hard-working, selfless, supportive, thoughtful, protective, humble, and soft-hearted yet strong-willed.

As a father, he loved and treated all his children fairly and equally. He was such a happy person to be around with. He always spoke in a lighthearted manner that could cheer up anyone he met.

A jack of all trade, Eric was talented in many things and could find the answers to every question. His presence would light up any room he would walk into. His laughter was truly contagious. He was larger than life and his were tough shoes to fill.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Maria Erlinda Lagera Ort.

Eric will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 33 years, Maria Fe "Cecil"; children, EJ (Ginger) Dino, ER (Jaime) Dino, and Marie (Will) Dino-Ebeling; grandchildren, Bjorn and Roka; sister, Elaine (Rasti) Arrastia; nephews, Robbie and Sajun Arrastia; father, Edgardo Dino; and siblings, Edwin, Edyza, Eliza, Grebde, Edmar, Edzel, and Edith Dino-Cherry; uncles and aunts, Franklin (Evelyn), Glenn (Josie), Bendoy (Carmen), Bingle (Rene); the Lagera cousins, Pangke, Thirdy, Joan, Judy, Bob, Tintin, and Earl, and the Dino cousins, May (Myoo), Marie, Patrick, Belle as well as many other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, June 16, 2020 from 3:00 P.M. (EDT) until the time of the funeral service at 4:00 P.M. (EDT) at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio.
