Ensley Samone White

With great sorrow, the White family announces the passing of Ensley Samone White, age 4, of Tipp City, Ohio, on August 7, 2024. Ensley was born on March 23, 2020 to Sara and Eric White in Dayton, Ohio. 

In her four short years, Ensley embodied strength, resilience, and a fighting spirit that astounded family, friends, and medical staff alike. She was funny, sweet, and had strong opinions: Ensley loved Moana, having dance parties with her siblings, and playing with her daddy’s hair every chance she could. Ensley always had a sparkle in her eye and a smile on her face that shined especially bright when her mommy entered the room. Ensley will remain the brightest light and a beacon of hope for all those fighting for what seems like the impossible. 

Ensley is survived by her parents Sara and Eric White, who dedicated their entire hearts to her care; her siblings DeMarcus, Brayson, Grant, JaLea, and Eryionna; her grandparents Bob and Kim Bair, and Karen White; her great grandmother Mary Lou Walters; countless aunts, uncles, cousins, friends; and the dedicated pediatric staff at Dayton Children’s hospital who became like family to Ensley. 

Ensley was preceded in death by her grandfathers Michael V. Lewis and Herman E. White and her sister Bella. 

Viewing services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 PM. Funeral services will also be held on Wednesday, August 14, beginning at 10:30 AM at the same location with a burial to follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City, Ohio.
