Enloe "Don" Atkinson

Enloe "Don" Atkinson, age 78 of Kettering, passed away June 6, 2012. He was born December 7, 1933 in Clark Range, Tennessee. Don was preceded in death by his mother, Ollie Dilley; and grandson, Wayne Atkinson.
Don is survived by his wife 59 years, Joyce Atkinson; 5 sons: David Atkinson, Michael Atkinson, Steven (Lee Ann) Atkinson, Glenn Atkinson and Greg (Paige) Atkinson; 4 grandchildren: Jessica Gourley, William Atkinson, Jared Atkinson and Tyler Atkinson; and 4 great grandchildren: Taylor, Ethan, Elijah and Gavin.
Don served in the 82nd Airborne; he loved horses and was a member of the USTA, OHHA and OSRC. He retired from Delco Moraine after many years of service.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday, June 11, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 12:30 – 1:30 pm. Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, 8135 North Dixie Drive.
