Age 80, of Huber Heights, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 27, 2010, after an extended illness.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry & Elizabeth Dixon; and by one sister, Eileen Roberts.
Enid is survived by her husband of the past 53 years, Amos "Max" Green; her sisters, Joan Simmons & Elizabeth Porter; her sisters-in-law, Bonnie Taraczkozy, Phyllis Shawl, Jennifer Beckett & Debbie McGraw; and by her brothers-in-law, William "Butch" McGraw, Bobbie Taraczkozy, Tom Beckett & Len Roberts.
Enid was a long-time member of the Christian Life Center. She enjoyed traveling all over the world with her husband during his career in the U. S. Air Force. She loved flower arranging, listening to gospel music and reading her bible. She was extremely proud of her three Godchildren, Brian Nichols, Angela Chappel & Phillip Maxwell Edwards.
Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday at Christian Life Center, Little York Road, Dayton. The family will be receiving friends prior to funeral service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Enid's cremated remains will be returned to her native homeland, England, for a memorial service with her English family and friends.
She will be laid to rest near her beloved mother. The family suggests that contributions be made in memory of Enid to the Christian Life Center Benevolence Fund.
