Emogene Middleton, age 79 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born March 23, 1940 in Floyd County, Kentucky to the late Walter and Patsy Owens.
Emogene loved her family unconditionally. She was soft-hearted and was always supportive of others. She was very crafty, liked to bake and was best known for her caramel corn.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Middleton in 2015; and siblings, Jeff Owens, Ethel Owens Ratliff, Florence Owens Davis, Walter Scott Owens, and Winifred Owens Helton.
Emogene will be missed by her daughters, Ronda (Stephen) Boxall of Toronto, Canada, Pamela (Ron) May of Ohio and Sandy (Larry) Garrison of Virginia; eight grandchildren, Roger "RJ" Klase (Natalie) and their children, Landon, Haley, Carter and Reagan; Chelsi Snyder (Kyle) and their children, Jaxon, Maverick and Jupiter; Allie May, Josh Burns, Michaela Garrison, Tommy Garrison, Nick Boxall and Noah Boxall; sister, Avonell Owens Allison; brother, William "Bill" Owens; several nieces and nephews all well loved.
Family will receive friends Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. Burial Medway Cemetery.
