Emmanuel Oladehinde Williams, age 65 of Huber Heights, passed away suddenly on February, 28 2019. Emmanuel was born in Lagos, Nigeria to Jacob Abodunrin and Rebecca Williams. He immigrated to the United States in 1973. He earned his bachelor's degree from Central State and went on to complete his master's degree from Central Michigan University. Emmanuel met the love of his life, Betty Ann Scott in 1981 and the two were married in 1986.
Emmanuel was an avid soccer fan. He refereed many games. In addition to soccer, Emmanuel loved to cheer on the Dallas Cowboys. He loved sports. Emmanuel was a member of Unity Church of Dayton.
Emmanuel was a dedicated family man. He worked hard to instill his values of hard work, family, and faith into his loved ones. He was a caring, loving, and compassionate husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
Emmanuel was preceded in death by his mother and father, Rebecca and Jacob Williams.
Emmanuel leaves to cherish his memory, loving wife of 33 years Betty Ann Williams; children, Rebecca Yetunde Johnson, Mary Lucinda Makufu, Jonathan Olatunde Williams, and Charles Olakunle (Molly) Williams; grandchildren, Makayla Ayo, Tyler Scott, and Silas Olajide; loyal canine companion, Princess; siblings, Elizabeth Williams, Ibikunle (Regina) Williams, Ladipo (Toyin) Williams, and Seyi (Kemi) Williams; dear friend, Susan Conner; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
A visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 from 11am - 1pm at Newcomer - North Chapel. Funeral service immediately to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Emmanuel's memory to Unity Church of Dayton.
