Emmalee Francis Baker, age 82, of Dayton, passed away on February 10, 2022, at Miami Valley Hospital. Emmalee was born Daston, AL on October 2, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Mary (Slone) Crabtree.
For many years Emmalee worked as a nursing assistant for area care providers. Emmalee was an accomplished artist focusing her talents towards oil portraits, landscapes and her favorite subject, Jesus. She was a true lover of animals and had many pet cats throughout her life. Emmalee was a loving and caring person who never met a stranger. She was a sweet hearted, soft-spoken person that touched the hearts of those who met her. Emmalee will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Emmalee is survived by her loving daughter, Teresa Walsworth; nieces, Vanessa I. Stone, Kim A. Hays and Linda McIntire; nephew, Don Mock and Robert A. Eagle; granddaughter, Erica Busselman; special nephews, Dusty, Brian and Shane;special dear friend Tammy Spears; and numerous grand and great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, Emmalee was preceded in death by her sisters, Alta Ann Eagle, Ruby I. Lawson and Betsy Beltz; and brother, James Alan Crabtree.
A graveside service is scheduled for Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at 10:00 am at the Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville, Ohio.
