Emma L. Rickey
RICKEY, Emma L., age 76, of Riverside, passed away Friday, October 21, 2011. She was born February 21, 1935 in Adams County, OH, the daughter of the late John T. and Elva (Purdin) Rickey.
Emma was very active at Bethel Christian Church and a member of the outreach choir. She retired from DESC after 37 years.
Emma is survived by special friend, Eleanor Snedden; two sisters, Phyllis Carl and Shirley Massie; four brothers, Charles Rickey, John Rickey, Ronald Rickey and Roger Rickey; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Leslie Faye Rickey; four brothers, William Rickey, Robert Rickey, Donald Rickey and Wendell Rickey.
Burial will follow in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
