Emma K. Thomas, age 86 of Dayton, reunited with her husband, Calvin Thomas, Jr. on December 27, 2016 at Springmeade Nursing Center. She was born June 5, 1929 in Paint Lick, KY to the late Finn and Cora (Fletcher) Davis. In addition to her husband and parents, Emma was preceded in death by her great-granddaughter, Angel Cole Cheadle and her sister, Elaine Miller
She is survived by her 2 daughters, Carol Madewell and Brenda Hayes; grandchildren, Brian Thomas, Angela English, Jeffrey English and Brandi Hayes; 4 great-grandchildren, Mariah, Meleah, Colton, Austin and Jayla; brother, Denzil (Peggy) Davis; sister, Beverly Wilson and numerous extended family members and friends.
Family will receive friends from 4-6 PM on Friday, January 8, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. where a memorial service will begin at 6 PM.
