Emma Joyce Cheshire

Emma Joyce Cheshire, age 78 of Vandalia, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Upper Valley Medical Center. She was born May 13, 1942 in Auxier, Kentucky to the late Estile and Jocelyn Sisco.

Emma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister and the matriarch of the family. If the world were more like Emma, this world would be at peace. She was remarkable.

In addition to her parents, Emma was preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Curly" Cheshire; daughter, Sherry Music; son, Dwayne Music; brothers, Winfrey Lee Sisco and James Sisco.

Emma will be missed by her loving children Frank (Diana) Music; Gwendolyn (Zender) Canizales; grandchildren, Shaun (Tiffany) Music, Nichole (Chris) Doggett, Alyssa Kelly, Morgan Music, Megan Music, Derrick Music; great-grandchildren, Noah, Harper, Adlee and Aniston; brother, Randall (Brenda) Sisco; sister-in-law, Clara Sisco.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 p.m. at the Redemption Tabernacle Church, 11780 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City, Pastor Todd Hoskins, officiating. Burial Polk Grove Cemetery.
