Emily R. Heavrin
March 8, 1925 — January 24, 2013
Emily R. Heavrin, age 87 of Dayton, passed away Thursday, Janaury 24, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband, Russell F. Heavrin; parents, John P. and Clara L. (Burress) Bodnark; and five siblings.
She is survived by her children, Thomas (Pat) Heavrin, Gloria (David) Taylor, and Richard Heavrin; nine grandchildren, Scott, Chris, Kay C., Steven, Heather, Jason, Julie, Charlee, and Sarah; fifteen great-grandchildren, Joshua, Willow, Kiley, Trey, Morgan, Brooke, Makenna B., Adelyn, Rorie, Lauren, Mallory, Nicholas, Makenna T., Chasen, and Ridge; two great great grandchildren, Hunter and Payton; siblings, Edna Aho, Carol Sapienza, Bud Bodnark, Jean Cooke; very special friend, Linda Fowler; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Emily graduated from Struthers High School and participated in both Boy and Girl Scouts as a young mother. She was very artistic around her home and enjoyed crafting and ceramics.
