Davis, Emily LaVerne (Dolly)
Age 88 of Beavercreek (formerly of Englewood) passed away Thursday, March 9, 2007 at Trinity Retirement Community. Emily was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 51 years Dr. W. Blaine Davis, D.C., sons Larry Davis, and Dr. Lloyd Davis,
D.C. She is survived by her daughters Lela (George) Herzog & Linda (John) Wolfe of
Beavercreek and her son Lance (Mary) Davis of Oceanside, CA., 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, brother Dale (Doris) Brown of Saline, MI and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was retired from The Montgomery County Welfare Department. Emily loved dancing, was an avid reader, loved to play cards, and was active in the Child Study Club, Englewood Sister City Club, and several Senior Citizen groups. A Memorial service will be held at Trinity Retirement Community on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Beverly Jenkins and Rev. Carol Williamson officiating. Family and friends may visit one hour before the service. She will be buried at Dayton Memorial Park after the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton (324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, OH 45420-1885) or Trinity Community Life Enrichment Fund.
