Emily Ann Gaston, age 45 of Dayton, OH passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020. She was born September 21, 1974 in Dayton, Ohio to James and Mary (Chin) Higgins, and they survive.
Emily attended Stebbins High School and Sinclair Community College, where she studied to become an Addiction Counselor. She loved her dogs Bear and Dozier, who she treated like her kids. Emily enjoyed gardening, cooking for her family and crafting. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Emily loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
Emily is survived by her children, Ashley Gibson, Darren Townsend, Marissa and Abigayle Bardonaro; four grandchildren, Hadley, Leila, Logan and Nolan; her parents; a brother, Jason Higgins; two nieces, Sierra and Madeline
; and a nephew, Jacob; and other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
A private service will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
