Elvin R. O'Quinn, age 85 of Clayton, passed away on July 15, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 27, 1933 in Phenix, VA to the late Joe and Annie Mae (Liscum) Jones. In addition to her parents, Elvin was preceded in death by her daughter, Edith Mae Krowalis; 7 brothers and 2 sisters.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, William "Bill" O'Quinn; children, Bill (Becky) O'Quinn and Patricia (Darren) Tesseo; grandchildren, Renee, Troy, Samantha, Breanna, Rich and Rob; great-grandchildren, Toby, Richie, Kyle and Megan; great great-granddaughter, Nevaeh and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Elvin loved gardening, sewing, Cardinal watching and cooking for her family and friends. She enjoyed vacationing all over, especially the mountain terrain. Elvin had a passion for her grand babies and spending time with them as much as possible.
Family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. A funeral service will begin at 1 PM on Friday, July 20 at the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Phillips officiating. Interment will follow the service at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens, Brookville, OH.
