Elva E. Yeager, age 89 of Miamisburg, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born September 1, 1927 in Colorado, the daughter of the late Samuel Arthur and Beulah Mathews.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Mary Mathews and brother, Dean Mathews; and husbands, Ed Brooks, Bill Owensby and Homer Yeager.
Elva is survived by her son, Arthur Brooks, Sr.; grandsons, Arthur (Terri) Brooks Jr., Edward (Nikki) Brooks, Chuck Brooks; brother, Sam Mathews; 11 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439). Visitation will be from 5 pm until the time of service.
