Elsie "Jean" Whittington, age 67, of Dayton, OH passed away Thursday January 9, 2014.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Irene Newsome; and first husband, Jimmy Linville.
She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Don Whittington; children, Chris (Cindi) Linville, Scott (Angel) Linville, and Debbie (Bill) Dowdy; grandchildren, Katelyn, Brandon, Dylan, Laci, Amanda, Katie, and Rebecca; step grandchildren, Jessica, William, and Thomas; and great grandchildren, Stephanie, Alex, Nick, Lizzie, Rachel, Chandler, Micha, and Jason; siblings, Carla and Larry.
Visitation is Monday January 13, 2014 from 10am to 11am with funeral service starting at 11am at the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), Kettering, OH.
Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery.
