Elsie Rosholt

Rosholt, Elsie E., formally of Beavercreek, Ohio, passed away at her home in Kettering, Ohio on Monday, May 4, 2015, where she has been under the care of hospice provided by Vitas for the past 4 years. Elsie peacefully passed away just five days after her 83rd birthday.

Elsie was born and grew up in rural Bovey, Minnesota until August 28, 1954 when she married her high school sweetheart, Wayne Rosholt. She became an Air Force wife, traveling around the world while raising five children. Elsie is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Col. Wayne V. Rosholt, USAF (ret); son, RADM Gary Rosholt, USN (ret), Abu Dhabi, UAE; daughters, Susan Gunnell, Oakwood, Ohio, Karen Rosholt, Placerville, CA, Julie and Sandra Rosholt, Kettering, Ohio. Elsie also leaves behind six grandchildren, two great-granddaughters, and seven nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 901 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, Ohio 45429 at 5:00PM on May 14, 2015. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vitas Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association of Dayton, Ohio.
