Elmer "Malcom" Meade, 59, of Vandalia, passed away May 11, 2016. Malcom was born in Xenia, Ohio on December 18, 1956 to Elmer and Shirlean Meade. Malcom retired from Harris Thomas Drop Forge after over 20 years of service. He was a member of Amvets in Vandalia for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed camping, fishing and making knives.
Malcom was preceded in death by his father, Elmer.
He is survived by his mother, Shirlean; son, Nicholas (Nyoka) Meade; step daughter, Jessica Brock; brothers, Tim (Cindy) Meade, Dean (Melanie) Meade; sisters, Lela Gibbons, Tammy (Joe) Vance; and several other relatives and special friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016 from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Interment will follow at Newsome Ridge Cemetery in West Virginia.
