Elmer G. Sparks

SPARKS, Elmer, age 86, formerly from the Dayton area, passed away Friday, August 22, 2008 at his home in Wilsonville, AL. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Alice; daughter, Darlene (Scott); brothers, Ellis and Donald; sister, Edna; granddaughter, Kimberly (Paul); great grandchildren, Joseph and Emily; devoted pet, Sandy, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Elmer was a member of Moraine Heights Baptist Church and now, Wilsonville Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Brothers Travis and Terrell Hudson officiating. Arrangements in care of Newcomer Funeral Home-South Chapel.
