Elma Slone

SLONE, Elma, 68 of Riverside; went to be with the Lord; Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004 after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe & Gustavia Howell; brother, Junior Howell; son, Rick Slone; father & mother in law, Blaine & Zella Slone; and Buddy & Rosie Stringer, Doris Howell & Burnis Newsome. Survivors include her loving husband of 49 yrs., Walker, who will miss her dearly; children, Mick Slone, Lisa Nance, Chad Slone, Phil Slone, and son & daughter in laws; her 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; sister, Sylvia Newsome; brother, Charlie Howell and many brother and sister in laws; a very special friend, Daryl Simpson & many other friends. Services will be held 1 pm Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2004 at Northridge Freewill Baptist Church, 4800 Payne Ave. Family will receive visitors from 5:00 pm through the night Tuesday evening, Oct. 19, 2004 at the Northridge Freewill Bapist Church.
