Elma "Edna" L. Clark, 92, of Spring Valley, OH, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born June 16, 1922 in Bourbon County, KY.


She was preceded in death by her parents, George W. and Addie Stella Grant; husband, John W. Clark; daughter, Kathy Lynn Johnson; brothers, George F. and Roy Grant; sisters, Thelma Hazelbaker and Evelyn Compton.

Edna is survived by her two daughters, Sharon Lee (James) Russell and Rhonda Hall; three sons, John Douglas (Donna) Clark, Dennis (Renny) Clark and Ricky Clark; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 29, 2014 at Trinity Christian Assembly, 1146 Grange Hall Rd. Beavercreek, OH 45430 with Pastor William Rowe officiating.

Visitation will also be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Dowell & Martin Funeral Home 365 Main St. Mount Vernon, KY 40456. Burial service will follow at the Clark Family Cemetery in Climax, KY with Pastor Jack Martin officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
