Ellis C. Collier

COLLIER, Ellis C., age 78, of Englewood, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2005. He was born February 22, 1927 in Greenup County, KY, the son of James F. and Melinda (Fyffe) Collier. Ellis proudly served with the United States Navy during World War II in the Asiatic Pacific Theatre, and saw combat at the battle of Okinawa. He started and ran his own electronic sales business for many years. Ellis is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Dorothy; one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Don Coppock of Bellbrook and their son Drew; one son, Bruce Collier of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; 3 brothers and 2 sisters. He was preceded in death by both parents, one sister, and one brother. Visitation will be held Friday, July 8, 2005 from 1-2 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd.) where funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Todd Hoskins officiating.
