Ellen Dacia Jones, daughter of Thomas William Jones and Vera Lee (King) Jones, born September 15th, 1951, passed away January 13th, 2022.
She was our angel and a kind heart to everyone she knew. She loved birds and gardening. She was an avid bowler and a member of the Tuesday night bowling social club. "Elle Belle" as her loved ones called her, was the light and leader of her home. She would speak up for herself and others. She prayed for you each night before she went to sleep, speaking to the angels on your behalf, and always encouraged you to be safe until you returned to her. "Put your seatbelt on be safe, I Love YOU", as she would always say.
We loved and cared for her dearly and our love transcended beyond just being caregivers. We were her family and she was ours. She inquired and cared about our children and knew them to be part of her family too. She leaves behind to say goodbye her devoted and loving family members: Lisa George, Yvonne Brown, Latoya White, Nyla Dixon and her dearest friend Pat White. As well as those from Toward Independence, Boundless, Montgomery County Developmental Disabilities and all who knew her.
I want to leave you with prayers from Isaiah 41:10 and John 16:22 as we send her home on her final journey:
Fear not for I am with you: be not dismayed for I am with your God, He will strengthen you, He will help you and uphold you within his righteous hands.
So also, you may have sorrow now but, I will see you again and your hearts will rejoice and no one will take your joy from you.
In Jesus name we pray AMEN.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 10:30 am until time of the Celebration of Elle Belle's Life Memorial at 11:00 am at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd.
