Ellen Jane Cox, 62, of Dayton, returned peacefully to the Lord, on January 18, 2014 to join her beloved parents, the late Edward Joseph and Helen Elizabeth (Walsh) Fogarty. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on November 23, 1951.
Ellen worked as an Administrative Assistant for Dayton Public Schools. She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church.
Ellen is survived by her loving children, James E. (Angelique) Cox Jr., Denise (Joshua) Campbell, Jason R. Cox; grandchildren, Madison and Tre Cox, Cole Campbell; brothers and sisters, Mary Fogarty, Denise (Phil) Fogarty-Trabolsi, Edward (Beth) Fogarty, James (Marilyn) Fogarty; beloved nieces, nephews and many good friends.
A Celebration of life will be held from 4-7 PM Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, Ohio.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at Our Lady Of Mercy Catholic Church, 220 Siebenthaler Ave, Dayton, OH 45405.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
