Ella Mae Stacy, age 78 of Dayton, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014. She was born in Pike County, KY on March 12, 1935 to the late, Jonah and Lizzie Smith. Mae was preceded in death by her daughter, Bobby Ann Stacy; three sisters, Melody Knight, Sylvia Bussel and Rosie DeBoard and one brother, Butler Smith.
She is survived by her children, Mary (Tommy) Manis, Ernest Stacy, Flora Sue (Allen) Smith, Sherry (Edward) Patterson and Jamie Ray Stacy; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; best friend & daughter, Patty Stacy; special niece, Jean Stacy and family; partner in life, Tommy Lee Gunder and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Mae was an avid bingo player and loved her scratch offs. She loved life and all those around her.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home, to help with funeral expenses.
