Ella Joan Long, age 78, of West Carrollton, passed away on Friday, November 5, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan; her parents, Bill and Lucinda Fraley; sisters, Mildred Davis, Billie Jean Eder; brother, Richard Fraley; in laws, Hugh and Edith Long.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, James H. Long; son, Jimmy and wife Nancy Long, of West Milton; daughter, Brenda and husband Skeeter Young, of Germantown; grandsons, Matthew and Brandon Young , of Germantown; and granddaughter, Jodie Long, Dayton.
Joan had a passion for crafts.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 10, 2010 from 10-11am at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will begin at 11am. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
