Elizabeth Tokar
August 12, 1937 — February 12, 2014
Elizabeth "Betty" Tokar, age 76, of Beavercreek, passed away at Soin Medical Center on Tuesday, February 12, 2014. She is preceded in death by her parents John & Mary Tokar, and her brother Robert "Jack" Tokar.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Denise Trescott; grandson, Scott (& wife Jacci) Powers; and a great-granddaughter, Rayne Powers. She is also survived by her sisters: Patricia (& husband Bill) Buckholt, and Mary Frances Tokar; and brother, Jim (& wife Linda) Tokar, and sister-in-law, Judy Tokar; along with several nieces and nephews, and many friends.
She retired from TravelPlex Beavercreek, and was very active at the Beavercreek Senior Center.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH 45432. A time of visitation with the family will be an hour prior to the service, from 2-3:00 PM also at the funeral home.
If desired, memorial contributions may be directed to the non-profit organization Greenebucs, which provides independence for people with disabilities. (Greenebucs, P.O. Box 1, Alpha, OH 45301)
