Phipps, Elizabeth Alona (Albea)
Age 82 of Centerville OH, died peacefully at Hospice on Wednesday after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her parents Marybelle (Moody) Lombard, Thomas Albea, Angelo Lombardo (step-father) and Josephine Albea (step-mother. She is survived by daughters: Marybelle (Steve) Yeazel of Germantown, Theresa Hubbard of Centerville and Nona (Ron) Hubbard of Bixby, OH. Grandchildren Anthony C. Hubbard of Tipp City, and Elizabeth Yeazel of Germantown. Sister: Rose (David) Wildermuth, Linda (Rolf) Pludra, Brenda Ledbetter and Nancy (Richard) Henley. Brothers: Angelo (Wanda) Lombardo and Salvatore Lombardo. A special nephew Anthony Lombardo and future son-in-law Mark Burns many loving cousins and nieces and nephews, friends, and a very special "sister in Christ" Tami Wyatt, and of course Princess, the little dog. Elizabeth retired from DESC after 25 years of service. A memorial service will be held 3:00PM Sunday March 4, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00PM prior to services Sunday at the funeral home. A memorial mass will be held 1:00 PM Monday, March 5, 2007 at Our Lady of Good Hope, 6 S. Third St. in Miamisburg. The family gives special thanks to Hospice of Dayton and all the wonderful staff and many volunteers who made her last week comfortable and special.
