Elizabeth Katlyn "Katie" Modlin
Katie was born June 29, 1998 to Lanette Allen and Wesley Green of Middletown, Ohio and was adopted on June 18, 2001 by Brian and Beth Modlin of Beavercreek, Ohio.
She passed away in Dayton on January 29, 2018.
Katie was a graduate of Preparing for the Future and attended Look to Jesus Ministries church. She was a devoted daughter and sister. Katie enjoyed putting on makeup and doing her hair. She had a giggle and laughter that was infectious.
She is survived by her parents, Brian and Beth Modlin; birth mother Lanette Allen and birth father Wesley Green; siblings Amber, Mark, Donnie, Gabby and Nick Modlin. De'Vonte and Jakia Allen and Jalen Routson, Wesley Jr., Kyara, Tyara Green.
Katie was preceded in death by DeMarQuise Green.
She is also survived by her nieces, Promise and Paradise Green; grandparents Helen Wills and Pat Modlin; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Family and friends will greet from 6-8:00 pm on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 5, 2018 at the funeral home with Rev. Richard Wilson officiating.
Katie will be laid to rest at Valley View Memorial Gardens, 170 N. Valley Road, Xenia, Ohio.
