Elizabeth L. Patesel

PATESEL, Elizabeth L., age 80, of Kettering, passed away April 30, 2009. She was born April 15, 1929 in Manlius Center, New York, the daughter of Nathan and Mary (Carlton) Philo. She loved her family and worked many jobs over the years, but the one job she loved the most was babysitting for countless children. She is survived by one daughter, Sammi (Robert) Shade; one son, Jeffery Patesel; grandchildren, Adam, Jason, Clayton, Patrick, Gerald, Jeffery Jr., and Kenyatta; several great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Gail Patesel; numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard L. Patesel, Jr.; one son, Richard W. Patesel; and one daughter, Anita L. Patesel. Visitation will be held Monday, May 4, 2009 from 4-7 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel with a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Elizabeth has always requested that donations be made to a charity of the donor's choice in her name.
