Elizabeth G Perry, of Dayton, Ohio was called home on Monday September 21st at 12:25 pm at Hospice of Dayton. Beth was born on January 26th 1950 in Mount Vernon, Ohio to the late Garth and Grace Palat.
Beth graduated from Northridge High School in Johnstown, Ohio in 1968. Beth is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Glen Perry.
Beth is survived by her children Jon Dunn of Findlay, Ohio, Marla Birchler of Huber Heights, Ohio, and 2 step-sons Glen Perry II (wife, Rebecca) and Andy Perry (wife Debbie), both of Newark, Ohio; 7 grandchildren: Joshua Skaggs of Cleveland Ohio, Peyton Birchler and Tyce Birchler, of Huber Heights, Ohio, Benjamin and Maria Perry, Christopher Vest and Kaitlyn Applegarth all of Newark, OH, siblings Nena Blair (Dick) of Mt. Vernon, OH, Mark Palat of Homer, OH and David Palat (Barb) of Virginia Beach, VA, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Beth enjoyed a full life filled with happiness that came from family and friends. Beth worked alongside her husband helping with his business until his passing, then worked for Huber Heights City Schools, but her most cherished career memories come from her time at Cracker Barrel. Miss Beth loved her Cracker Barrel family. Her heart lied with her children and grandchildren. Beth's goal in life was to be the best grandma she could.
A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday October 11th at Newcomer Funeral Home North Dayton Branch – receiving family and friends at 2pm, Celebration beginning at 3pm. If you so choose you may make a donation to Hospice of Dayton.
